Tourists 18 years of age or older are eligible to fly. There are no citizenship restrictions for the Zero-G flight.

The zero-gravity flight lasts 1.5 hours. During this time, the aircraft performs 10–15 zero-gravity phases. Each “zero-gravity phase” lasts 25–28 seconds.

The flight is conducted aboard a specialized IL-76 MDK laboratory aircraft belonging to the Cosmonaut Training Center, which is used to train actual cosmonauts before their flights into space.

The flight is completely safe! The IL-76-MDK aircraft undergoes a full technical inspection before every flight. The cabin of the IL-76-MDK is specially equipped for zero-gravity flights for cosmonauts. The aircraft is piloted by highly experienced professional pilots. Specially trained instructors and two medical professionals monitor the safety of passengers during every zero-gravity flight.

Are there any health restrictions?

Yes, there are—chronic high blood pressure above 180, major heart surgery, spinal and back problems, and sinusitis.

You will not be floating in a converted airliner. The Il-76 MDK is the laboratory aircraft used to rehearse ISS operations, and its test zone is 14 metres long with a 3.5-metre ceiling — noticeably higher than Western operators fly, which is exactly what you notice once you start tumbling. Ten parabolas, 25–28 seconds each: the longest single parabola of the three operators worldwide.
