How do I get to Baikonur, and what do I need to arrange on my own?

All you need to do is purchase a flight ticket to Kyzylorda. We’ll take care of all the rest: we’ll meet you at the airport, arrange a comfortable transfer, and take you to your hotel. The day before your departure, you’ll receive detailed instructions, including our guide’s contact information and the meeting time.

What happens when the launch is postponed?

Roscosmos sets the launch schedule, so we’ve established transparent terms to cover any situation: Rescheduling in advance: We’ll refund the tour cost or reschedule your trip to a new date at no charge. Rescheduling during the tour: We’ll assist you on-site with extending your passes and accommodations and rebooking your return tickets so you can still see the launch.

Where do the tour participants stay?

At trusted hotels in Baikonur: “Tsentralnaya,” Galaxy, or “Sputnik.” You can choose your preferred option and room category when booking your tour.

Is it possible to see the abandoned “Buran” spacecraft?

The standard orientation tour itinerary does not include visits to these sites due to safety considerations and spaceport regulations. If you have a specific request to tour the historic sites of “Buran,” please let your manager know when you make your reservation—we will advise you on the available options.

What should I pack for the trip?

Documents, a comfortable backpack, a camera or video camera with a good zoom lens, and a thermos for trips to the launch sites. A couple of weeks before the trip, we’ll send you a detailed packing list tailored to the current weather forecast for the steppe.

Why Baikonur

Baikonur is the world's first spaceport and still a working one: Gagarin left from here, and Soyuz vehicles still fly to the ISS from here. On the tour you enter the restricted zone on named passes, visit the cosmodrome museum, Gagarin's Start and the assembly building, and watch the launch itself from Site 31. Everything from Kyzylorda and back is ours to arrange.
